The Band Perry Information

Date of Formation: 2005

Interesting Facts:  The trio siblings were discovered by Garth Brooks’ manager Bob Doyle.

Biography: Siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry all began singing at a very early age. As a teenager, Kimberly sang in her own band while her brothers opened for her with their band the Mobile Music Machines. The siblings united to form the Band Perry in 2004 and joined the New Faces of Country tour in 2005.

In 2008, Bob Doyle, manager of Garth Brooks, discovered the band and helped them to make recordings that were then sent to the newly formed Republic Nashville label and released “Hip to My Heart” in 2009. The song peaked at #20 on the Country Charts.  They next released “If I Die Young” which reached #1 on the Country Music Charts and up to #14 on the Billboard Hot 100.  The band next released a third single, “You Lie” which vaulted to the #2 upon its debut in 2011. In August, the band released the fourth single, “All Your Life” that soared to #1 in February 2012.
